This was an online illustration auction to help raise money for War Child.
The auction date was Thursday 28th August 2014 - Sunday 7th September 2014.
War Child is a charity who providing life-changing support to the most vulnerable children whose families, communities and schools have been torn apart by war. War Child work in Congo, Central African Republic, Afghanistan, Iraq, Uganda and Syria and Gaza.
A few thank yous...
Firstly, thank you SO much to everyone who placed a bid on our wonderful illustrated auction lots... buying something beautiful and raising money for charity surely is a win win situation!
And a GIGANTIC thank you to all the very talented illustrators who generously donated, packaged and posted their artwork to lucky bidders to help War Child's vital humanitarian work.
Also, big thanks goes out to Tom Bonnick and Kate Wilson at Nosy Crow , and Steve Smith at Beakus- who without their support, time and energy would have made this auction impossible. Hats off- you are truly amazing.
Together, we raised an incredible £5981.28 which has gone directly to War Child.
